Manuel Locatelli's nets an unbeatable finisher goal to make it 2-0 against Switzerland

Manuel Locatelli has managed more touches in the opposing penalty area this evening than all of Switzerland's forward players combined.

Only Giacomo Bulgarelli (v Switzerland in 1962) and Mario Balotelli (v Germany in 2012) have scored a brace for Italy at a major tournament at a younger age than. Locatelli this evening (23y 159d).

Two more changes for Switzerland. Fabian Schar is replaced by Steven Zuber, with Kevin Mbabu also off and Silvan Widmer on.

Vladimir Petkovic is trying to affect the game, but you fear it may already be too far gone and Italy simply too good.

Switzerland's night can't get much worse can it? These nuggets pretty much sum up their evening so far in Rome.

Mario Gavranovic was yellow carded only three minutes and 24 seconds after coming on, the quickest a substitute has been shown a card during Euro 2020.

And Haris Seferovic, who went off had just 13 touches in the first half, managed fewer than any other player, including Giorgio Chiellini, who went off in the 24th minute.

It's two! And is it game over?

Manuel Locatelli's dream night just gets better. The ball is fed to the midfielder on the edge of the box and he takes a touch before slamming a drive in to the bottom corner.

What a hit, what a player, what a team!
